Job summary

SAKSOFT PTE LIMITED in Singapore seeks an experienced Application Maintenance Engineer to manage and enhance enterprise applications. You will work across Java, Oracle, APIs and middleware, ensuring stability and timely incident resolution.

The role requires 8+ years of hands-on maintenance, familiarity with CI/CD, OpenShift, and payment domain knowledge. You will collaborate with QA, devs, and operations to deploy safe releases and improve system reliability.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
At least 8 years of relevant experience in application maintenance.
Strong hands-on experience with Java, Oracle, Linux, JBOSS, OpenShift and cloud development.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket/Jenkins/SonarQube.

Responsibilities

Perform root cause analysis on incidents and provide remediation solutions.
Prioritize defects and plan production releases based on criticality.
Develop programs and support end-to-end testing in SIT, UAT and production deployment.
Maintain production stability with proper risk and impact assessments.
Follow up on defect closure and share learning with QA and development teams.
Verify and deploy programs and systems, troubleshoot and upgrade as needed.
