Job summary

SUMITOMO MITSUI BANKING CORPORATION SINGAPORE BRANCH is seeking an Executive Director, Senior Project Manager to lead APAC STO transformation initiatives. You will drive strategy, governance, and benefits realization across regional programmes with senior executives and global teams.

You will oversee front-to-back delivery, digitalisation, and operating-model changes, ensuring risk controls and regulatory considerations are integrated.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large strategic transformations in financial services.
• Ten to fifteen years in project and programme delivery with governance.
• Strong change-management and stakeholder-influencing abilities.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2 or Agile/Scrum are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of strategic transformation initiatives.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate priorities into programmes and roadmaps.
• Develop business cases, operating models, and delivery plans for change.
• Govern and monitor programmes, ensuring benefits realization and risk handling.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to align standards and practices.
