Job summary

FedEx in Singapore is seeking a Senior Tax Specialist to provide tax advisory support across APAC markets, including Japan, Korea, Guam, and others. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in accounting, finance, taxation, or tax advisory.
• Experience supporting multinational organizations or regional tax operations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, tax research, compliance, and tax risk management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with ability to interpret complex tax legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory support to APAC markets on business transactions, operational initiatives, and tax-related matters.
• Identify, assess, and recommend solutions to mitigate tax risks and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Support business leaders by providing practical tax guidance aligned with organizational objectives.
• Conduct tax liability research and interpret tax legislation to support business decisions.
• Assist with tax examinations, audits, appeals, and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Ensure tax documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of tax policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external tax advisors and internal business partners across APAC.
