Job summary

OPPO Singapore seeks a tax professional to manage corporate tax compliance and advisory in a fast-paced tech environment. The role covers Singapore direct and indirect tax filings, tax audits support, and risk mitigation across APAC entities.

You will monitor changes in local tax laws, respond to daily tax inquiries, and collaborate with business teams and partners, with Mandarin communication preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Accounting, Taxation, Law, or related discipline; ACCA/CPA preferred.
• At least 3 years of corporate tax/GST/withholding tax/transfer pricing experience.
• Strong knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and major tax returns, preferably in internet/tech firms.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be able to communicate with Mandarin-speaking counterparties; experience in Chinese companies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Singapore tax filings (direct and indirect tax) in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Support APAC entities with tax audits, disputes and litigation.
• Respond to daily tax enquiries from business teams, clients or partners.
• Monitor Singapore tax law changes and support local markets with process or system changes.
• Assist in identifying and mitigating potential tax risks.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
