Job summary

Gunvor Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Tax Advisor for the APAC region, based in Singapore. The role requires strong tax expertise to manage compliance, reporting, audits and tax strategies across multiple APAC jurisdictions.

You will work closely with Accounting, Legal and Treasury, and engage external advisors when required. Minimum 6–8 years of multinational tax experience is expected, with CPA or equivalent qualifications.

Qualifications

• Deep technical knowledge of corporate tax, withholding tax, tax compliance and tax reporting.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen for tax data and position papers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Chinese ability helpful for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax schedules and annual tax computations for APAC entities.
• Support GST/VAT, WHT, transfer pricing and related tax reporting.
• Assist with tax audits, inquiries, and tax incentives matter handling.
• Develop tax positions and documentation for external auditors and stakeholders.
