Senior APAC Real Assets Counsel (In-House)

Job summary

STACK Infrastructure APAC is seeking a senior in-house lawyer based in Singapore to support APAC land, power, and related infrastructure workstreams across markets including Australia, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore.

You will partner with the General Counsel, development, finance, and engineering teams to manage real estate, energy, and regulatory matters from due diligence through completion, while coordinating with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years PQE with relevant real estate/infrastructure experience.
• Experience with land acquisition, leases, easements, planning/zoning, development approvals.
• Experience with power, grid connection, transmission, electricity supply or regulated infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate NDAs, LOIs, HOAs, term sheets, leases, licences, sale and purchase agreements, contracts of sale, brokerage agreements.
• Support due diligence on title, zoning, land use, easements, access rights, environmental issues, approvals, utilities access.
• Support transaction execution: CP structures, completion, closing mechanics, funds flow, post-closing obligations.
• Coordinate with external counsel and internal teams (planning, tax, foreign investment, local counsel).
• Build templates, playbooks, and checklists for site acquisition, power and related real asset workstreams.
