Job summary

Banco Santander SA in Singapore seeks an Executive Director to lead the Digital Infrastructure Structured Finance pillar in Asia Pacific within the Financing Group. The role focuses on originating, structuring and closing financing transactions and syndicated loans for digital infrastructure assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in digital infrastructure finance or project/structured finance.
• Strong credit, financial analysis and modelling skills with cash flow and risk assessment expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Digital Infrastructure Structured Finance pillar in Asia Pacific as a senior member of the Financing Group.
• Originate, structure and execute digital infrastructure financing transactions and syndicated loans where relevant.
• Lead client discussions, financing strategy, marketing materials, term sheet negotiation, internal approvals, documentation and closing.
• Direct the preparation and review of internal credit papers, financial analysis, models, due diligence materials, sensitivity analysis, risk and return assessment.
• Work closely with relationship coverage, loan syndications, debt capital markets, legal, credit risk, market risk, compliance, operations and other stakeholders.
• Oversee post-closing portfolio management including exposure monitoring, covenant compliance, cash flow performance, valuation and refinancing opportunities.
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to develop Santander’s Financing Group franchise in Asia Pacific and support broader client coverage across sectors and products.
