Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Singapore is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with strong Angular experience to build high-quality, scalable web applications in the banking/financial domain, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful digital solutions.

You will lead frontend development, convert UI/UX designs into efficient code, integrate with RESTful and GraphQL backends, contribute to technical design, mentor junior developers, and help uphold security, performance, and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in frontend development with strong Angular expertise.
• Experience in banking/fintech or financial services domain.
• Solid understanding of API integration (RESTful/GraphQL).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with state management libraries (NgRx) and RxJS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins.
• Experience with code quality tools such as SonarQube, Veracode.
• Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth2, SSO, OpenID Connect).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
• Experience with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular
• Convert UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Participate in technical design discussions and propose scalable solutions
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend systems
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and usability
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders including product owners, designers, and clients
• Work on banking/financial systems, ensuring compliance with security and performance standards
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
