Job summary

Mount Alvernia Hospital in Singapore is seeking a Radiographer to perform diagnostic imaging including CT, ultrasound, mammography and theatrical radiography within the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

The role requires a BSc in Radiography or equivalent, AHPC registration, and at least 3 years of acute hospital experience. On-call duties and rostered hours apply, with Sundays and public holidays off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Radiography or Diploma from College of Radiographers (UK) or equivalent.
• Registered with AHPC.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in an acute hospital.
• Computer literacy.
• On-call duties rostered.
• Office hours, off on Sunday and PH.

Responsibilities

• Provides radiography services in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
• Conducts special examinations such as CT Scan, Ultrasound, Mammography, BMD, Fluoroscopy and Theatre Radiography.
• Liaises with and accepts advice from the Manager.
• Assists the Radiologist and doctors in the imaging process.
• Assists in the care and maintenance of Ultrasound and X-ray machines and radiographic equipment.
• Participates in departmental activities such as quality assurance and performance appraisal.
• Attends and contributes to departmental staff meetings.
• Supervises and directs activities of departmental staff when necessary.
• Participates in on-call duties.
