Job summary

The National Cancer Centre Singapore Pte Ltd invites applications for a Radiographer to perform general radiographic examinations and, where qualified, advanced imaging such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, or Mammography. You will ensure patient care, radiation safety and efficient use of imaging technology.

Applicants should hold a recognised degree or diploma in Diagnostic Radiography and be registered or eligible for AHPC registration.

Qualifications

• Recognised Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Registered or eligible for Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) registration.
• A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Entry level candidates are welcome; on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiography independently to produce high quality diagnostic images and provide excellent patient care.
• Supervise student radiographers and coordinate with staff on radiographic issues.
• Maintain quality control programmes and imaging equipment and accessories.
• Able to specialize in advanced imaging such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound or Mammography.

About the Role

The Department of Oncologic imaging provide diagnostic imaging services to support patients. You will independently perform all general and certain specialised radiographic examinations such as ultrasound and other imaging modalities of diagnostic quality with due regard to patient care, clinical responsibility, radiation protection and effective use of technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiography independently to produce high quality diagnostic images as well as provide excellent services and care to the patients.
• Supervising student radiographers and leading Quality Improvement projects, coordinating with other staff and clinicians on radiographic-related issues
• Responsible for quality control programmes and maintenance of imaging equipment and accessories
• Able to specialize in advanced imaging such as Computerized Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound or Mammography.

Job Requirements

• Recognised Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
• Registered or eligible for Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) registration
• A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Candidates with supervisory experience may be considered for senior position
