Job summary

Wise Asia-Pacific PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Android engineer to ship direct customer touch points on Wise's high‑growth mobile product.

You will collaborate with backend, frontend, and product teams to deliver high-quality features. Your day-to-day focus includes implementing scalable Android features, supporting card-related flows (ordering, transacting, 3DS, disputes), and promoting clean code and mobile best practices within a globally distributed tribe.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on Android development experience.
• Experience shipping and maintaining high-performing Android apps.
• Experience with modern Android UI development (Jetpack Compose).
• A passion for customer experience and data-informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical execution of our mobile product with backend, frontend, and product teams.
• Implement features for the Android platform that are scalable and maintainable.
• Support card product flows including card ordering, transactions, 3DS, and disputes.
• Write clean, maintainable code and advocate mobile best practices across a globally distributed tribe.
• Influence product direction and contribute to technical roadmaps.
