Wise is building a new network for the world’s money. We are seeking an Android Engineer to ship customer touch points for one of Wise's high-growth products.

You will work with backend, frontend and product teams to deliver high-quality features and contribute to the mobile product strategy. We value customer experience, data-driven decisions, and a collaborative mindset as part of a globally distributed squad.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing Android applications.
• Experience building, shipping, and maintaining high-performing Android apps.
• Experience with modern Android UI development (Jetpack Compose).
• Focus on customer experience and data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical execution of our mobile product with backend, frontend, and product teams.
• Work on features for Wise's Android app, including key user flows like card ordering and transactions.
• Write clean, maintainable code and advocate mobile best practices across the tribe.
• Influence the product roadmap and technical direction of the mobile offering.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend and product peers in a transparent, ownership-driven environment.
