Job summary

SECOND TALENT SG PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior Android developer to join a global distributor of electronic components, building an internal engineering team for warehouse and operations tech.

You will design and maintain Android apps that power daily warehouse workflows such as scanning, receiving, picking, packing and inventory management. You will collaborate with Product, QA and backend teams, implement offline-capable features, integrate with REST APIs, and help define engineering standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience with strong hands-on Android
• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle
• Experience building production apps that integrate with REST APIs
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX for task-driven users
• Experience with offline-capable design, local storage, and sync
• Experience debugging across devices, OS versions, and networks
• Knowledge of mobile security and secure data storage
• Experience with automated testing and release readiness for mobile apps

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Android applications for warehouse operations
• Create reliable workflows for scanning, receiving, picking, packing, inventory, and image capture
• Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs and critical systems
• Implement offline-capable features and robust sync logic
• Support rugged devices and barcode scanners; manage app deployment
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and backend teams on requirements and tests
• Troubleshoot production issues and device-specific bugs
• Contribute to code reviews and engineering standards across the team
