Job summary

SMRT Corporation Ltd is seeking an Android Developer to design, build, enhance, and maintain high‑performance mobile applications. You will deliver secure, scalable Android apps with a strong focus on user experience in an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and Backend Engineers, with iOS development experience valued for cross‑platform initiatives and future product enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of Android application development experience.
• Experience with production mobile applications and Android tooling.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and RESTful API integration.
• Experience with AWS or cloud platforms is an advantage.
• iOS development experience (Swift) is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications.
• Translate requirements into robust, scalable mobile solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers and Backend Engineers.
• Write clean, well-tested code following Android best practices.
• Troubleshoot performance, stability and UX issues.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Ensure security and data privacy compliance.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.
• Stay current with Android technologies and trends.
• Support CI/CD, release management, and Play Store deployments.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
