Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd is seeking Senior Android Engineers to join its banking mobile app team. You will design, build and ship features for a high-traffic hybrid banking app, while profiling performance and memory usage to keep the app fast and stable.

You will mentor junior engineers, perform code reviews, and collaborate with product, design, QA, and web teams in an Agile environment. Strong Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, and security practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Must ship and maintain production Android apps on Google Play.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java with in-depth Android SDK knowledge.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and XML-based UI development.
• Solid understanding of architecture patterns (MVVM/MVP/Cigure) and clean code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship new features for a hybrid banking app.
• Profile and optimise app performance and memory usage.
• Apply security best practices in development and data handling.
• Review code and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA and web teams in Agile.
• Ensure CI/CD pipelines and Play Store releases are smooth and reliable.
