Job summary

DBS Bank is seeking a Senior Associate/Associate Android Mobile Developer to design, build, and maintain secure, high-performing Android banking apps in Singapore. You will work in an Agile team to deliver across Singapore and Southeast Asia, focusing on robust architecture and secure authentication.

Key work includes Kotlin/Java development, MVVM/ Clean Architecture, secure coding, API integration, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of hands-on native Android development experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
Core tech stack: Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow, RxJava.
Security: Android Keystore, encryption, OAuth 2.0/JWT/MFA, secure coding practices.
CI/CD and tooling: Git, Jenkins, Bitrise, SonarQube, Gradle, Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain native Android apps using Kotlin and Java.
Implement MVVM/ Clean Architecture and scalable design patterns.
Ensure security and compliance (OAuth 2.0, JWT, MFA) and Android Keystore protection.
Integrate RESTful APIs and enterprise backend microservices.
Write unit/UI tests, perform code reviews, and optimize performance.
Maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage app deployments to stores.
Collaborate with UI/UX, architects, cybersecurity engineers, and product owners.
