DBS Bank is seeking an Android Developer to build, enhance, and maintain secure, high-performance digital banking applications (e.g., DBS digibank, PayLah!, or corporate banking solutions). You will collaborate within an Agile team environment to build scalable mobile interfaces that power digital banking experiences across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Application Development: Design, build, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
Architecture & Clean Code: Implement scalable architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture) and design patterns.
Security & Compliance: Implement secure authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT, MFA), biometric login (Fingerprint/Face Unlock), certificate pinning, and Android Keystore protection adhering to OWASP Mobile Top 10 and SSDLC standards.
API Integration: Integrate RESTful APIs, JSON-based web services, and enterprise backend microservices.
Quality & Testing: Write unit and UI automation tests (JUnit, Espresso), practice TDD, conduct code reviews, and resolve complex performance issues.
DevOps & Delivery: Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, vulnerability scanning, and App Store/Play Store deployments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with UI/UX designers, solution architects, cybersecurity engineers, and product owners in Agile/Scrum environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.
3–5+ years of hands‑on native Android development experience.
Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow, RxJava.
Cryptography, Android Keystore, data encryption at rest/in transit, threat detection (e.g., v-Key, Zimperium).
Git, Jenkins, Bitrise, SonarQube, Gradle, JIRA/Confluence.
Experience with mobile/internet banking systems, cross‑platform frameworks, or HarmonyOS.
