DBS Bank is seeking an Senior Associate / Associate - Android Mobile Developer to design, build, and maintain secure, high-performance mobile banking applications (e.g., digibank, PayLah!). You will work in an Agile team across Singapore and Southeast Asia, applying MVVM and Clean Architecture, Kotlin, Java, and modern security practices to deliver robust digital banking experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of native Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with secure mobile app development and Android security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Architect, implement scalable MVVM or Clean Architecture patterns and design practices.
• Implement secure authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT, MFA) with biometric login and Android Keystore.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and enterprise backend microservices.
• Write unit and UI automation tests (JUnit, Espresso) and practice TDD.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, solution architects, cybersecurity engineers, and product owners in Agile/Scrum.
