Job summary

TOKENINSIGHT SG PTE. LTD. is seeking a Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android) to build and maintain high-quality mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms, collaborating with Product, Design, Backend, and Web Engineering teams to deliver fast, reliable experiences.

You will develop cross‑platform apps with React Native, optimize performance, and contribute to scalable mobile architecture. Proficiency in Java/Kotlin or Swift/Obj‑C and strong problem‑solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related field.
• Strong CS fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
• Proficient in Java/Kotlin (Android) or Swift/Objective-C (iOS).
• Experience developing native mobile apps (iOS or Android).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; can diagnose and resolve issues independently.
• Experience designing or contributing to the technical architecture of at least one end-to-end mobile app.
• Familiarity with modular architecture, component-based development, and best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, with native modules for iOS/Android when needed.
• Design, develop, test, and enhance mobile features for performance, stability, and UX.
• Optimize memory usage, startup time, rendering performance, and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot builds, packaging, device compatibility, debugging, and production incidents.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and Web Engineers across the SDLC.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to scalable mobile architecture.

About the Role

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android) to build and maintain high-quality mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. You will work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Web Engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance mobile experiences. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving technical challenges, optimizing application performance, and contributing to scalable mobile architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, while building and optimizing native modules for iOS and Android where required.
• Design, develop, test, and enhance mobile application features to ensure high performance, stability, compatibility, and an excellent user experience.
• Optimize application performance, including memory usage, startup time, rendering performance, and overall responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to builds, packaging, device compatibility, debugging, and production incidents.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to scalable, maintainable, and reusable mobile architecture.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, QA, and Web Engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain coding standards, and contribute to continuous improvements in engineering practices.
• Support application releases, monitor production performance, and resolve issues to ensure reliable application operation.
• Stay up to date with emerging mobile technologies and recommend improvements to development tools, frameworks, and engineering processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, computer networks, and software design principles.
• Proficient in Java/Kotlin (Android) or Swift/Objective-C (iOS).
• Experience developing native mobile applications for either iOS or Android.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Experience designing or contributing to the technical architecture of at least one end-to-end mobile application.
• Familiarity with modular architecture, component-based development, and software engineering best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to take ownership of projects from design through delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing applications using React Native.
• Experience with cross-platform mobile application development.
• Familiarity with Expo, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and mobile build and release processes.
• Experience developing large-scale consumer-facing mobile applications.
• Experience with application performance optimization, monitoring, and debugging tools.
