VF Corporation (NYSE: VFC) outfits consumers around the world with its diverse portfolio of iconic lifestyle brands, including Vans®, The North Face®, Timberland®, etc. Founded in 1899, VF is one of the world’s largest apparel, footwear and accessories companies with socially and environmentally responsible operations spanning numerous geographies, product categories and distribution channels. Be the hands-on engine of vendor allocation for the Global Allocation team. Working closely with the broader Global Allocation team and cross-functional partners, you will run pre-season and in-season allocation for assigned seasons and product groups: gathering and validating inputs, analyzing cost, capacity and footprint trade-offs, and turning them into clear, executable allocation recommendations for cross-functional partners. You will also keep allocation trackers, reports and leadership materials current so decisions are made on time and with the right data. This is an 8-month fixed-term role that suits an experienced analyst who can get up to speed quickly, own deliverables independently from the first weeks, and keep a fast-moving seasonal calendar on track.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Include but not limited to

  • Allocation Planning & Execution: Lead day-to-day execution of pre-season and in-season vendor allocation for assigned seasons, building recommendations that balance cost, capacity, country-of-origin footprint, lead time and material considerations, and translating approved plans into operational actions.
  • Analysis & Insights: Build and maintain reports, dashboards and scenario models (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) on allocation, reallocation, cost and capacity, and turn the findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Cross-functional Partnership: Partner with Sourcing Development, Supply Planning, Materials Sourcing, Costing and Product Development to gather inputs, align stakeholders and support allocation decisions; work with Planning on forecasting and capacity alignment, and with Materials and Costing to strengthen synergy between fabric/trims and garment sourcing.
  • Input Readiness & Issue Resolution: Proactively track required allocation inputs, flag gaps and late changes early, validate assumptions, and drive closure on open questions so downstream milestones are not delayed.
  • Downstream Impact & Communication: Assess cross-functional dependencies and downstream impacts of allocation and reallocation decisions, and keep partners informed of changes through regular, reliable updates.
  • Process, Tools & Documentation: Maintain allocation trackers, templates and automated reports; document processes and data sources so work runs smoothly and can be handed over cleanly at the end of the contract.
  • Team Support & Leadership Materials: Prepare materials for leadership reviews and allocation forums, and support the Global Allocation team with ad-hoc analysis, coordination and special projects.
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
Competency requirements:
  • Drive Results: own deliverables end to end and keep allocation timelines on track.
  • Analytical Thinking: structure complex trade-offs and turn data into sound recommendations.
  • Collaborate: build trusted relationships across regions and functions.
  • Learning Agility: get up to speed quickly on new processes, data and stakeholders.
Skills:
  • 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, strategic analytics or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics or a related field is preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau); Power Query experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and systems-thinking skills, with attention to detail and the ability to evaluate interdependencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English, including influencing stakeholders and presenting clear, data-driven insights.
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities and deadlines, and to contribute independently with minimal ramp-up.
  • Solid business acumen, with an understanding of global trends affecting sourcing and supply chain decisions.
  • Knowledge of apparel development or sourcing processes is preferred; familiarity with Copilot/AI tools for analytics, and data or document automation tools such as KNIME or Alteryx, is a plus.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:
  • Being a part of a movement that is Purpose led which enables us to have a positive impact on communities around the world, it gives greater meaning to the work we do.
