Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking an Assistant VP, AML Ops, Triage Mgmt & Assignment for onsite duties in the Central Region (City Area). The role focuses on triage management, SLA adherence, and efficient assignment of AML review cases to teams, including collaboration with Malaysia-based colleagues.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in AML operations, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with Excel, Power BI, and SQL. AML certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Triage AML review triggers and ensure delegation to appropriate teams.
• Oversee assignment of alerts to review teams and monitor workload balancing.
• Maintain SOPs, controls and maker-checker processes for triage and assignment activities.
• Coordinate with Malaysia teams to ensure timely BAU delivery and remediation per SLAs.
• Prepare MIS on trigger volumes, assignment timeliness, productivity and backlog management.
