Job summary

NCS Group in Singapore seeks a visionary Solution Architect to lead design, implementation, and governance of reusable assets powering scalable platforms across verticals. The role sits at the intersection of pre‑sales strategy, technical delivery, and asset evolution.

You will partner with product managers, engineering teams, and clients to translate business needs into robust architectures, set governance standards, and mentor engineers on best practices for asset reusability and scalable

Qualifications

• Proven experience in solution architecture within a systems integrator or enterprise technology environment.
• Strong understanding of scalable platform design and reusable asset development.
• Familiarity with modern architectural paradigms (e.g., microservices, cloud-native, API-first) — specific stack to be defined by CTO.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in both client-facing and internal leadership roles.
• Prior experience at Associate Director level or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Technical Solution Sign-Off: Review and approve solution architectures for project proposals, ensuring alignment with asset strategy and scalability goals.
• Delivery Oversight: Oversee the implementation of technical systems during project delivery.
• Asset Architecture Ownership: Design and maintain the technical architecture of reusable solution assets.
• Define architectural blueprints, integration patterns, and scalability models for vertical expansion.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to ensure consistent implementation across use cases.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineering teams, and client stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Act as a technical authority during client engagements, balancing innovation with delivery pragmatism.
• Governance & Best Practices: Establish architectural standards, documentation practices, and review mechanisms.
• Mentor engineering teams on architectural principles and asset reusability.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between technical and non‑technical stakeholders, facilitating clear and effective communication to ensure mutual understanding and propose solutions.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess potential technical risks, developing strategies to mitigate them and ensure solution viability.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize deep technical knowledge to guide the solution development process, ensuring robust and scalable architecture and design.
