Job summary

Land Transport Authority (Singapore) is seeking an AI Software Developer for the Transport AI Programme. You will design and maintain AI‑powered applications that help the transport network sense, manage, and optimise operations for commuters and officers.

You will integrate LLMs and computer vision models, optimize models for production, and collaborate with data scientists, AI architects, and ops teams to deliver reliable software across transport use cases.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of software development experience, with 2+ years in AI/ML‑integrated systems
• Proficient in Python and familiar with modern AI/ML frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, PyTorch)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications across transport use cases
• Integrate LLMs, CV models, and other AI/ML components into operational workflows
• Evaluate inference engines and publish recommendations balancing performance, cost, and resilience
• Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and data pipelines connecting AI to systems
• Implement guardrails and observability for production AI systems
• Collaborate with industry partners on co‑development and maintain code/documentation standards
