Job summary

Firmus Technologies is seeking a skilled Network Engineer / Sr. Network Engineer to lead the design and deployment of networks for AI infrastructure projects in a fast-moving environment.

The role requires expertise in InfiniBand/Ethernet, RDMA, and network security, with responsibilities ranging from automation to on-site deployments. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in network engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 8+ years in network engineering with a focus on security.
• Experience with Linux systems and host network configuration.
• Strong PM skills and ability to manage complex projects.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally/domestically for deployments.
• Experience with zero-trust architecture and 802.1X/NAC.
• Certifications like CCNP Security, CISSP, Fortinet NSE, PCNSE are valued.
• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA InfiniBand, Spectrum Ethernet, RoCE.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate high-performance networks for AI workloads.
• Design and test InfiniBand/Ethernet fabrics and RDMA transport.
• Develop automated network configurations using IaC tools.
• Implement CI/CD for network changes and auditability.
• Enforce firewall rules and zero-trust security across fabric.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployments.
• Maintain technical documentation and vendor relationships.
