Job summary

Firmus Technologies in Singapore seeks a Network Architect to lead the design and deployment of physical network infrastructure for its AI infrastructure projects. You will drive low-latency interconnects and scalable architectures, guiding both data centre and AI Factory deployments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AI-focused network engineering, hands-on experience with InfiniBand, Spectrum Ethernet, RoCE, and fibre cabling, and strong architectural leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on AI infrastructure.
• Strong project management skills and experience leading complex technical projects.
• Solid understanding of advanced networking technologies related to AI.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain low-latency, high-throughput interconnects for HPC/AI workloads.
• Lead design of layer 1/2/3 network infrastructure in data centres and AI Factories.
• Evaluate new technologies and design patterns to improve performance and efficiency.
• Plan fibre optic cabling, DWDM/CWDM, and long-haul fibre for intersite connectivity.
• Create and maintain documentation of network architecture and cabling.
• Coordinate network infra with other services and teams.
• Participate in on-call support as needed.
