Job summary

Brunel Singapore is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, deploy, and scale AI-powered products for enterprise workflows. The role emphasizes production-grade engineering, MLOps, responsible AI, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will integrate foundation model APIs, build LLM applications, monitor models in production, and partner with data scientists, product managers, and platform teams to move from prototype to scalable deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant AI/ML engineering experience with production-grade solutions.
• Hands-on Python programming with practical data handling in NumPy/Pandas/SQL.
• Experience deploying AI/ML services with Flask, FastAPI, MLflow or similar.
• Proven ability to take solutions from prototype to production and scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML and GenAI solutions for enterprise use.
• Build and integrate LLM-powered applications using LangChain or LlamaIndex and external model APIs.
• Productionize models and AI services using Flask, FastAPI, MLflow, Triton, or Hugging Face Endpoints.
• Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize ML models, NLP pipelines, and computer vision solutions.
• Develop robust API integrations, orchestration layers, evaluation pipelines, and monitoring capabilities.
• Implement model versioning, experiment tracking, monitoring, and drift detection in production.
• Support data preparation and curation activities for ML tasks.
• Apply responsible AI practices including bias detection and explainability.
• Work with product, DevOps, platform, security, and compliance teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Prototype MVPs quickly while planning enterprise deployment and supportability.
• Contribute to evaluation frameworks and model quality metrics.
