BRUNEL INTERNATIONAL SOUTH EAST ASIA PTE. LTD. seeks a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, deploy, and scale AI-powered products that deliver measurable business value.

You will productionize ML and GenAI solutions in enterprise workflows, focusing on production-grade engineering, MLOps, responsible AI, and cross-functional collaboration. The role requires hands-on Python, experience with LangChain/LlamaIndex, and integration of model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Mistral).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience delivering production-grade solutions.
• Proven software engineering and AI/ML delivery experience from prototype to production.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Practical experience with NumPy, Pandas, and SQL for data handling and transformation.
• Proficient with Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML services using Flask, FastAPI, and/or MLflow.
• Experience building LLM-powered applications using LangChain and/or LlamaIndex.
• Experience integrating model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Mistral).
• Knowledge of ML concepts to support model integration, scaling, and operations.
• Experience with vector/graph databases such as FAISS or Neo4j.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication across product, engineering, DevOps, and compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML and GenAI solutions using Python for enterprise use cases.
• Build and integrate LLM-powered applications using LangChain or LlamaIndex and external model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Mistral).
• Productionize models and AI services using Flask, FastAPI, MLflow, Triton Inference Server, or Hugging Face Endpoints.
• Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize models, NLP pipelines, and computer vision solutions.
• Develop robust API integrations, orchestration layers, evaluation pipelines, and logging/monitoring for AI services.
• Implement model versioning, experiment tracking, monitoring, and drift/performance detection.
• Support data preparation and curation for ML tasks.
• Apply responsible AI practices: bias detection, explainability, content filtering, moderation.
• Work closely with product, DevOps, platform, security, and compliance stakeholders.
• Prototype MVPs quickly while enabling enterprise-grade deployment and supportability.
• Contribute to evaluation frameworks and model quality metrics.
• Coach junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and reusable components.
