ST Engineering Advanced Networks & Sensors Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. You will collaborate with AI engineers, product managers, and developers to deliver secure, high-quality digital solutions.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development, automated testing, and continuous delivery, while maintaining code quality and performance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in application software development.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language: Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and architecture.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and service-oriented design.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with TDD and/or BDD practices.
• Exposure to integrating third-party APIs, including AI/LLM services.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with focus on quality.
• Working location is in Ang Mo Kio.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise and web applications.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while ensuring code quality.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Perform code validation activities, including peer reviews and static analysis.
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Troubleshoot defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and UX teams to deliver solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Ensure security, coding standards, and performance requirements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, especially AI-enabled engineering.
