Job summary

Vertis Digital is seeking an experienced AEM Developer for Enterprise Solutions to design, develop, and deliver scalable AEM components and integrations. You will collaborate with architects, designers, and business teams to build high-quality digital platforms.

The ideal candidate brings strong AEM development expertise, experience handling complex technical challenges, and a solid understanding of enterprise web application architecture and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years hands-on AEM development experience.
• Proven design, development and implementation of enterprise‑level AEM solutions.
• Strong understanding of AEM architecture, lifecycle, customization and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and independent technical challenge handling.
• Strong communication and collaboration across distributed teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and enterprise standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement custom AEM components, templates, workflows, and functionalities.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high‑performance AEM solutions for enterprise platforms.
• Customize and extend AEM using Java, Sling Models, OSGi, HTL, and Adobe frameworks.
• Maintain reusable components, content models, and digital experience solutions.
• Integrate AEM with external systems, REST APIs, and enterprise apps.
• Configure and optimize AEM performance, caching, and dispatcher.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex AEM issues across environments.
• Collaborate with architects, backend/frontend teams, QA, and stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews, planning, and coding standards adherence.
• Support deployments across dev/QA/staging/production.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best practices.
• Stay updated with Adobe Experience Manager features and cloud capabilities.
