Job summary

Wah Loon Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant / Project Manager to drive successful delivery of ACMV systems across built environment projects in Singapore. You will plan, execute, and oversee multidisciplinary teams, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and quality delivery while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities, monitor progress and risks, and prepare reports for clients and management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 10 years relevant experience or Diploma with minimum 15 years relevant experience.
• Proven experience handling ACMV operations for construction, infrastructure, industrial, commercial, residential, healthcare, institutional, or other built environment projects.
• Strong knowledge of ACMV systems and maintenance, building services, project execution, testing and commissioning.
• Good understanding of project management, contract administration, risk management, and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and successful completion of ACMV systems within approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
• Manage and coordinate project teams, consultants, contractors, suppliers, clients, and relevant authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee electrical engineering works, including installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Monitor project progress, risks, resources, costs, and contractual obligations, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, codes, quality standards, and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements.
• Prepare project reports, forecasts, and documentation for management and client review.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement in project delivery and operational excellence.
• Uphold the highest standards of ethics and compliance, including anti-corruption, anti-competition, conflict of interest, human rights, fair employment, and responsible business conduct.
