Job summary

ABS BUS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced accountant to handle full set of accounts, prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports, and perform bank reconciliations. You will also assist in year-end closing and liaise with auditors as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of accounting experience, a Diploma in Accountancy or a related Bachelor’s degree, and is proficient in Excel. This role requires meticulous records maintenance and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Familiar with full set of accounts and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts.
• Handle daily cash flow - monitor, analyse, and optimise the money flowing into and out of a business.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform bank reconciliation and accounts reconciliation.
• Prepare GST submission and related tax schedules.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and clients when required.
• Ensure accounting records are properly maintained and updated.
• Assist in year-end closing and financial reporting matters.
• Any other ad-hoc accounting duties assigned by management.

Job Scope:

• Handle full set of accounts
• Handle daily cash flow - monitor, analyse, and optimise the money flowing into and out of a business
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Perform bank reconciliation and accounts reconciliation
• Prepare GST submission and related tax schedules
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and clients when required
• Ensure accounting records are properly maintained and updated
• Assist in year-end closing and financial reporting matters
• Any other ad-hoc accounting duties assigned by management

Key Requirements :

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
• Minimally a Diploma in Accountancy or Bachelor Degree of related field.
• Familiar with full set of accounts and financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
