ANTlabs is looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will handle full-set accounts for assigned entities, prepare group consolidated accounts, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. You will work closely with finance colleagues in Singapore, the Philippines and Sri Lanka. This role suits someone who can understand established accounting processes, work independently and exercise sound accounting judgement.
Handle full-set accounts for assigned entities, including general ledger entries, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly management accounts.
Complete month-end closing within agreed deadlines, ensuring transactions, accruals and adjustments are accurate and supported.
Prepare group consolidated accounts using established accounting policies and reporting schedules, including intercompany eliminations and supporting reconciliations, for review by the Senior Finance Manager.
Prepare intercompany billings, reconcile balances between entities, and investigate and resolve differences with relevant finance colleagues.
Review customer and supplier invoices, contracts and supporting documents, and allocate amounts to the appropriate revenue, cost, deferred revenue, prepaid expense and other relevant accounts.
Maintain accrual, deferral and prepayment schedules, and prepare the corresponding entries to recognize revenue and expenses in the appropriate accounting periods.
Reconcile supporting schedules to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies, obtaining clarification from the project management team and other relevant teams where needed.
Maintain accurate accounting records in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and coordinate accounting inputs from finance colleagues to meet closing and consolidation deadlines.
Identify and escape unusual transactions or complex accounting matters to the Senior Finance Manager.
Prepare supporting schedules for audit and tax matters as required, and assist with improvements to accounting processes and controls.
Diploma, degree, recognized professional qualification or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
Preferably at least four years of relevant hands-on accounting experience.
Proven experience handling full-set accounts and month-end closing independently.
Hands-on experience preparing consolidated accounts, including intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries.
Experience accounting for invoices or contracts with multiple revenue or cost components, including maintaining accrual, deferral and prepayment schedules.
Ability to understand and apply established accounting policies, procedures and supporting schedules.
Experience using an ERP or accounting system; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) experience is strongly preferred.
Good Microsoft Excel skills, strong attention to detail and sound accounting judgement.
Able to investigate discrepancies, work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
Good communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
Experience in technology, software, systems integration or service businesses.
Experience supporting overseas entity reporting or liaising with external auditors and tax agents.
A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or CA.
