Job summary

Samaritans of Singapore Limited seeks a Senior Accountant in Corporate Finance & Compliance to support the Finance Manager in finance operations, reporting, budgeting, and governance. You will handle financial accounting, treasury support, compliance reporting, and procurement governance, driving improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.

The role covers grants, donations, AML screening where applicable, IPC reporting, and liaison with internal stakeholders to deliver timely management

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in financial operations.
• Experience in charity, non-profit, healthcare or grant-funded environment.
• Experience managing donation accounting, IPC compliance and fund reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of accounts, account reconciliations, and monthly financial reports.
• Ensure timely month-end closing, including AR billings and supporting schedules.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register, acquisitions, disposals and depreciation.
• Support budget preparation, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Prepare reports for IPC charity portal submission.
• Manage donations, grants, and sponsorship accounting and reporting.
• Oversee receivables management and treasury planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, SOPs, and governance policies.
• Coordinate audits and timely closure of audit findings.
