Job Summary
Manage client portfolios to guide legal, administrative, and corporate activities for companies with Cayman Island entities. Lead corporate structure setup and maintenance, generate revenue through value-charging, promote services, and grow business via client referrals and team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Manage client portfolios by guiding corporate services including setting up and administering corporate structures and governance.
- Analyze and interpret regulations, procedures, and documents to identify clients’ legal and fiscal opportunities.
- Develop new business and grow existing client portfolios through proactive marketing and client referrals.
- Administer companies, limited partnerships, and trusts in compliance with applicable legislation.
- Monitor, manage, verify, and approve preparation of shareholder meeting minutes, proxies, and attendance lists.
- Coordinate tax, administration, and banking issues with the Client Accounting Department.
- Ensure client actions align with company activities and purposes within legal and economic frameworks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and company information.
- Monitor and review weekly productivity and chargeability to meet financial and client targets.
- Record chargeable time and service value accurately using Maconomy to facilitate timely invoicing.
- Ensure correspondence complies with signatory authority requirements.
- Resolve payment issues and manage collection of outstanding invoices.
- Enforce “Know Your Customer” rules and ensure client compliance with relevant frameworks.
- Adhere to internal procedures for accurate use of automated programs recording client and company data.
- Maintain local office policies and procedures aligned with regulations and requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor by maintaining regular client communication to build long-term relationships.
- Accurately record chargeable time and monitor transactions, pricing, invoicing, and fee collections for clients.
- Follow disciplined timesheet submission to meet weekly and monthly chargeability targets.
- Undertake roles such as director, trustee, nominee, manager, partner, secretary, or authorized signatory in internal or client entities as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management or Group Human Resources.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Business, Accounting, Tax, or related fields; additional relevant qualifications desirable.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in corporate or financial services sectors, preferably with international exposure.
- Knowledge of company secretary or company law qualifications is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of financial services legislation and international requirements such as CRS, FATCA, BEPS, GAAR, ESR.
- Strong commercial mindset with initiative, positivity, proactivity, and focus on revenue and targets.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic local and matrix team environments.
- Proven leadership and team player skills with ambition to excel.
- Knowledge of operational efficiency, quality management, and control matters.
