Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a technical support engineer for semiconductor inspection equipment. You will liaise between customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operation and customization.

The role requires a degree or diploma in EEE/Mechatronics, 2–3 years in semiconductor processes, and strong vision-system knowledge, plus programming skills in C++, C#, or Python. Travel across Singapore & APAC may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering.
• 2-3 years in semiconductor device manufacturing and quality control with good communication with customers.
• Strong knowledge of vision or optical inspection systems.
• Must have proficiency in a programming language (C++, C#, or Python).
• Familiarity with semiconductor optical inspection equipment is advantageous.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronics and PC hardware.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support of semiconductor inspection machines between internal team and external customers.
• Evaluate and establish vision system performance specifications.
• Manage customer-specific projects and related documentation.
• Prepare technical documentation and deliver training when required.
• Drive product improvement through feedback and technical analysis.
