Job summary

Emerson in Singapore is seeking an Applications and Systems Engineer to design, implement, and deploy semiconductor test solutions. You will collaborate with customers, sales teams, engineering colleagues, and technology partners to grow your career within the Test & Measurement business.

The role demands hands-on experience with test systems, hardware integration, and software development in languages such as C++, Python, or Java.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Experience designing semiconductor test systems or automated test equipment.
Knowledge of RFIC, On-wafer testing, PMIC, MEMS sensors.
Proficiency in C++, Python or Java programming.
Experience with test instruments and data communication protocols.
Strong English communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and partners to define and deploy semiconductor test solutions.
Gather customer requirements and contribute to project scopes and statements of work.
Plan, coordinate and lead project activities ensuring quality and performance.
Install, configure, validate, and support test systems at customer sites.
Evaluate and validate hardware solutions based on device-under-test requirements.
Provide technical guidance and training to customers and stakeholders.
Travel domestically and internationally to support deployments.
