Job summary

ASE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified engineer to install, configure, upgrade, repair and debug testers in our Singapore facility. You will identify improvements to test performance and OEE while coordinating with suppliers on cost and timelines.

The role requires a degree or diploma in engineering, familiarity with testers and handling equipment, and experience in troubleshooting, maintenance and quality tools. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge of testers, handlers and semiconductor equipment.
Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of equipment.
Familiar with quality tools and problem solving methods (SPC, DOE, FMEA).

Responsibilities

Responsible for tester installation, re-configuration, upgrade, repair and debug
Identify and execute continuous improvement to improve test performance and OEE
Generate technical gap analysis of new hardware, software and license requirement
Provide technical training to production personnel
Coordinate and lead machine suppliers on project costing and time management
Support audit / visit and render assistance in solving outstanding/quality issues
