Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform installation, commissioning and buy-off of automated test handlers at customer cleanrooms in Singapore. You will diagnose and repair electro-mechanical issues to maximize uptime, conduct preventive maintenance and calibration, and ensure strict cleanroom safety compliance.

You will also deliver specialized technical training to customer teams, build strong client relationships through proactive communication, and may be eligible

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma or Higher NITEC/ITE in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Hands-on technical or equipment service experience in semiconductor manufacturing or cleanroom.
• Vehicle ownership eligible for car allowance or reimbursement.
• Prior knowledge of semiconductor automated test handlers is advantageous.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute equipment installation, commissioning and buy-off at customer cleanroom facilities.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical issues to maximize uptime.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration and upgrades per cleanroom safety standards.
• Provide specialized technical training to customer engineering and operations staff.
• Maintain strong relationships with customer engineering teams through proactive communication.
