Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore seeks a supervisor to run shifts, manage people, and execute the production plan while ensuring safety, quality, and output targets are met in real time. You will lead by example, optimize WIP flow, and maximize equipment capacity to achieve targets.

The role emphasizes mentorship, continuous improvement, and adherence to EHS standards in a fast-paced semiconductor environment. Flexibility for rotating shifts and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing; semiconductor/electronics/cleanroom experience preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-handling skills.
• Ability to organize manpower, assign tasks, and manage breaks while maintaining output.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift environment, including rotating shifts, weekends, and nights.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations by managing people, executing the production plan, and ensuring safety, quality, and output targets in real time.
• Achieve production targets by maintaining WIP flow linearity and maximizing equipment capacity.
• Drive improvements in fab yield and promote quality awareness across the team.
• Foster a disciplined and productive workforce through effective manpower allocation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain strong audit readiness and follow up on workforce discipline actions.
• Improve people productivity through resource management, multi-skilling, and training.
• Support production planning to achieve higher moves and turns and optimize manpower and equipment utilization.
• Promote a safe, green, and healthy working environment in line with EHS requirements.
• Support cost reduction activities and responsible use of resources.
