Job summary

UMC Singapore is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support advanced technology nodes in a fast-paced foundry environment. You will monitor inline processes, drive stability, and collaborate with equipment and materials teams to improve yield and reduce cost.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in a relevant engineering field, has 6+ years in semiconductor fabrication, experience with 22/28nm or below, and demonstrates strong root-cause analysis, DOE/8D/FMEA, and cross-functional

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field is required.
At least 6 years in semiconductor foundry process.
Experience with 22/28 nm and below nodes is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of process development, optimization and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Day to day monitoring and ownership of inline SPC/defect/equipment abnormality; address and disposition.
Lead productivity improvement projects for new processes using process characteristic analysis to improve conditions and yield.
Establish process parameters for various semiconductor equipment to ensure line stability.
Evaluate and develop new equipment/materials/process.
