Job summary

GlobalFoundries Singapore is seeking curious, motivated Process & Equipment Engineering interns to join our wafer fabrication operations. You will work alongside an assigned engineer to monitor critical steps, catch abnormalities early, and drive improvements that protect wafer quality and yield.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure, a working understanding of wafer fabrication, and opportunities to present your results in a capstone session at internship end.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Available for a 16–24 week internship commencing January 2027.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week during the internship.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Assist with tool installation, modification and repair to improve capacity.
• Reduce variability in process recovery procedures and standardize processes.
• Review inline process control charts to meet quality and productivity goals.
• Lead an improvement project end-to-end and present results.
