Job summary

GlobalFoundries Singapore is seeking curious, motivated Process & Equipment Engineering interns to join wafer fabrication operations. You will work with an assigned engineer to monitor critical steps, detect abnormalities early, and drive improvements to protect wafer quality and yield.

Ideal candidates are actively pursuing an engineering or physics degree, can work 40 hours per week, and are available for a January 2027 start for a 16–24 week internship. Prior related experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in one of the listed engineering/physics fields.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Available for a 16–24 week internship starting January 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment preventive maintenance and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Assist with tool installation, modification and hardware repair.
• Help reduce variability in process recovery procedures.
• Review process control charts to meet quality and productivity goals.
• Improve detection limits and strengthen process performance measurement.
• Contribute to production moves, process qualification, and cost reduction.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and present results.
