Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore seeks an Automation/Manufacturing Engineer (AME) to maintain production tools on the shop floor, working with process engineers, maintenance and quality teams to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing and high quality output.

You will perform routine preventive maintenance, calibrate equipment, troubleshoot issues, install/configure systems, read schematics, document services, and uphold safety and regulatory standards while contributing to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Technology (or equivalent).
• High school diploma with substantial relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machine to ensure reliable performance.
• System operation: Operate and monitor equipment and system to ensure they are function optimally.
• Calibrate, maintain, and repair electronic semiconductor equipment
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues with semiconductor equipment
• Install and configure semiconductor equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure equipment is functioning correctly
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawing
• Safety and compliance: Follow safety procedure and regulations and ensure all work meets quality standard.
• Documentation: Keep detail record of all service performed
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
