Job summary

STMicroelectronics Singapore is seeking an AME to support upkeep of production tools on the shop floor, working with process engineers, maintenance and quality teams to keep operations safe and efficient.

You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, calibrate and repair semiconductor equipment, and ensure documentation is accurate. A technical diploma or equivalent is preferred, with strong troubleshooting skills and a safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma/associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Technology.
• High school diploma with substantial relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machine to ensure reliable performance.
• System operation: Operate and monitor equipment and system to ensure they are function optimally.
• Calibrate, maintain, and repair electronic semiconductor equipment
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues with semiconductor equipment
• Install and configure semiconductor equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure equipment is functioning correctly
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawing
• Safety and compliance: Follow safety procedure and regulations and ensure all work meets quality standard.
• Documentation: Keep detail record of all service performed
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
