Job summary

HERMES-EPITEK CORPORATION PTE LTD is seeking a service engineer to perform repair, refurbishment, testing, and installation of semiconductor equipment. You will provide field support, warranty handling, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance at customer sites both locally and internationally.

The role requires a background in Electronic/Mechanical Engineering, willingness to travel, and strong communication in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

ITE/diploma or degree in Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in equipment servicing or semiconductor manufacturing equipment is an advantage.
Proficient in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers.
Willing to work in a cleanroom and comply with safety protocols.
Prepared to travel domestically and internationally for training and support.

Responsibilities

Perform workshop repair, refurbishment, and testing of equipment and components.
Provide field support including warranty, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance at customer sites.
Execute installation, commissioning, and equipment move-in per procedures and safety rules.
Verify condition and readiness of equipment, parts, and tools before and after service.
Prepare service reports and maintain maintenance records with accurate documentation.
Ensure compliance with EHS policies and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely service.
Attend technical training and travel as required for training and support.
