• Diploma or degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in security systems design, deployment, or administration.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, access control, and video surveillance platforms.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, PCI DSS and security standards.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deploy security systems architecture tailored to meet client requirements and industry standards
• Install, configure, and test security hardware and software including firewalls, IDS/IPS, access controls, and surveillance
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential weaknesses in existing systems
• Develop and implement security protocols and best practices across deployed systems
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for security systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime
• Document system configurations, network diagrams, and security procedures for compliance and knowledge management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions with existing IT infrastructure
• Stay current with emerging security threats and recommend system updates and improvements
• Conduct security testing and penetration testing activities as required
• Provide expert guidance to clients on security best practices and system optimisation

About the role

RH Synergy (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Security Systems Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in the Kaki Bukit East Region, this role is pivotal to our organisation's commitment to delivering robust and innovative security solutions. As a Security Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial part in designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive security infrastructure that protects our clients' most valuable assets. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and security, ensuring systems are both cutting-edge and resilient against evolving threats.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy security systems architecture tailored to meet client requirements and industry standards

• Install, configure, and test security hardware and software components including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, access controls, and surveillance infrastructure

• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential weaknesses in existing systems

• Develop and implement security protocols and best practices across deployed systems

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for security systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime

• Document system configurations, network diagrams, and security procedures for compliance and knowledge management

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in security systems design, deployment, or administration

• Strong knowledge of security technologies including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, access control systems, and video surveillance platforms

• Proficiency with network security protocols and standards such as TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, and VPN technologies

• Experience with security compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or similar industry standards

• Solid understanding of operating systems including Windows Server, Linux, and potentially others

• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non‑technical stakeholders

• Relevant security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent are highly desirable

• Experience with cloud security solutions and emerging security technologies would be advantageous
