Job summary

Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited is hiring a Security & Compliance Engineer to design, build, and deploy AWS security and compliance solutions for highly regulated customers.

You will own engineering deliverables across the full lifecycle—including secure design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance—translating SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CIS, NIST, and FedRAMP into secure‑by‑design AWS implementations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Python/Java/C#/Go/Ruby with secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with threat modeling and risk assessment techniques.
• Understanding of networking (HTTP/DNS/TCP/IP) and SDLC security activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and threat modeling for customer engagements.
• Implement and automate security controls (SCPs, RCPs, policy-as-code).
• Develop IaC controls for landing zones and zero-trust architectures.
• Write and review code and scripts (Python, Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation, Rego).
• Enable continuous compliance monitoring and audit-ready evidence.
