Our client are looking for an experiencedSecurity Solution Engineerto design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise IT security infrastructure for customer environments. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in firewall technologies, network security, and application delivery solutions. You will work closely with customers to deliver secure, high-performing infrastructure while providing post-implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise security solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance.
- Administer and maintain Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls, including security policy configuration, optimization, and auditing.
- Configure and manage advanced security features such as App-ID, User-ID, Content-ID, IPS/IDS, and threat prevention.
- Perform centralized firewall administration using Panorama (Palo Alto) and SmartConsole/Management Server (Check Point).
- Configure and support F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM), including Virtual Servers, Pools, Health Monitors, and load balancing policies.
- Perform firmware and operating system upgrades (PAN-OS, Gaia, TMOS), security patches, and maintenance activities during planned maintenance windows.
- Troubleshoot complex network and security incidents using packet capture and analysis tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises and High Availability (HA) failover testing to ensure business continuity.
- Work closely with customers to understand security requirements, resolve technical challenges, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide on-site support for post-migration activities at customer locations for up to 12 months, depending on project requirements.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of Network Security experience
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and/or Check Point firewall administration.
- Experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM or other enterprise load balancing solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network security concepts, including firewall policies, IPS/IDS, VPN, NAT, and traffic inspection.
- Familiarity with enterprise network troubleshooting and packet analysis tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
- Customer-oriented with good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Willing to work on-site at customer premises based on project assignments.
