Job summary

Re Source Partners Pte Ltd is seeking Security Guards to maintain safety and security across assigned premises in Singapore. You will prevent unauthorized access, safeguard employees, visitors, and assets, and respond promptly to security incidents in line with company policies.

Responsibilities include patrolling premises, verifying identities, documenting incidents, coordinating with emergency services, and maintaining CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school education or equivalent.
• Experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong observational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Familiarity with security systems and technology, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• Successful completion of the Security Officer Training Course (SOA) in Singapore is required.
• Must hold a valid security officer licence issued by the Singapore Police Force (SPF).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify suspicious activities, detect potential hazards, and ensure that all security measures are properly maintained.
• Monitor and control access to the building by verifying the identities of employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring that only authorized individuals are permitted to enter restricted areas.
• Record, document, and report all security-related incidents, accidents, and security breaches to the appropriate authorities or management promptly.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, and security breaches, and coordinate with emergency services whenever necessary.
• Operate, monitor, and perform basic maintenance checks on security equipment, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems.
• Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors by offering directions, answering enquiries, and addressing general concerns while maintaining a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure compliance with established safety and security policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Work closely with the management team, police, and other relevant law enforcement agencies to maintain a safe and secure working environment.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required
• Successful completion of the Security Officer Training Course (SOA) in Singapore is required
• Must hold a valid security officer licence issued by the Singapore Police Force (SPF)
• Capable of standing, walking, and conducting patrols for extended periods, as well as performing duties that require physical stamina

Additional Information

• Basic salary follows PWM wage.
• Joining bonus available.
• Working arrangements may be based on a 5.5-day or 6-day work week, depending on the company's operational requirements.
• Shifts may include day shifts, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Overtime may be required when necessary, particularly during emergencies or unforeseen operational circumstances.
