Job summary

Re Source Partners (EA License No : 20C0279) is seeking Security Guards to maintain safety at assigned premises, safeguard staff and assets, and respond promptly to incidents in line with company policies.

Responsibilities include patrols, access control, incident reporting, emergency coordination, CCTV/alarm checks, and assisting staff while adhering to safety and security rules. Compliance with SPF licensing is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school education or equivalent.
• Experience in security preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with CCTV, alarms and access control systems.
• Valid SPF security officer licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify suspicious activities, hazards, and ensure security measures are maintained.
• Monitor and control access to the building by verifying identities of employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Record, document, and report all security-related incidents to authorities or management promptly.
• Respond to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, and security breaches, coordinating with emergency services as needed.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems.
• Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors with directions and inquiries in a professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Work with management, police, and other agencies to maintain a safe working environment.

Job description

We are looking for Security Guards to maintain the safety and security of the assigned premises, prevent unauthorized access, safeguard employees, visitors, and company assets, and respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies in accordance with established company policies and procedures.

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify suspicious activities, detect potential hazards, and ensure that all security measures are properly maintained
• Monitor and control access to the building by verifying the identities of employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring that only authorized individuals are permitted to enter restricted areas
• Record, document, and report all security-related incidents, accidents, and security breaches to the appropriate authorities or management promptly
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, and security breaches, and coordinate with emergency services whenever necessary
• Operate, monitor, and perform basic maintenance checks on security equipment, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems
• Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors by offering directions, answering enquiries, and addressing general concerns while maintaining a professional and courteous manner
• Ensure compliance with established safety and security policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
• Work closely with the management team, police, and other relevant law enforcement agencies to maintain a safe and secure working environment

• Minimum secondary school education or equivalent
• Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong observational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
• Familiarity with security systems and technology, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures is an advantage
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required
• Successful completion of the Security Officer Training Course (SOA) in Singapore is required
• Must hold a valid security officer licence issued by the Singapore Police Force (SPF)
• Capable of standing, walking, and conducting patrols for extended periods, as well as performing duties that require physical stamina

Additional information

• Basic salary follows PWM wage.
• Working arrangements may be based on a 5.5-day or 6-day work week, depending on the company's operational requirements.
• Shifts may include day shifts, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Overtime may be required when necessary, particularly during emergencies or unforeseen operational circumstances.
